Teaching Staff
Lesa Crocker, MBA, IKYT, E-RYT, LMBT - is the Director of the En Yoga Teacher Training Program and of the Pilates Teacher Training Program, and is a student of alternative fitness & health care for the past 26 years. She is a Yoga Alliance Experienced Registered Yoga Teacher and has certifications in Rolfing (License #1527), Hatha Yoga (Erich Schiffmann), Kundalini Yoga (Yogi Bhajan), Pilates (Leslie Clayton & Elizabeth Larkham) and Fitness Instruction (Arden Zinn).
Lesa has studied with many wonderful teachers over the past 16 years, and her main focus is the teachings of Erich Schiffmann. Her goal is to offer a unique program that trains future yoga teachers to seek and know their own inner strengths and beauty, and to assist their students in doing the same. As Amrit Desai said, "If it does not change your life, it isn't yoga."

Kristine Kaoverii Weber, MA, LMBT, e-RYT has been studying yoga since 1989 in India and the U.S. and teaching for the past 12 years. She is the creator of Subtle Yoga, director of the Subtle Yoga Teacher Training program at One Center Yoga in Asheville, NC and the co-director of the Ananda Marga Yoga Teacher Training program taught throughout the U.S. Kaoverii's training includes many years of study with sanyasins (yogic renunciates) as well as study of Vini Yoga, Iyengar and Anusara techniques.
Kaoverii teaches the Cakras, Sanskrit, Yoga History, Yoga Philosophy, chanting & meditation in the Bodhi Tree's En Yoga Program. She weaves various aspects of the ancient wisdom tradition of yoga into her teachings to help students realize their physical, mental/emotional and spiritual potential through a comprehensive understanding of the yogic path. She encourages students to connect with the deepest part of themselves and to consciously use the practice as a vehicle for self-transformation. She spent several years teaching yoga to the elderly and wheelchair bound and is dedicated to various seva (service) projects. Students comment that in addition to her warm, open style, she has the rare ability to make complex philosophical concepts easily understood. She is also a shiatsu practitioner and has published a book, Healing Self-Massage (Sterling, 2005). Kaoverii teaches yoga and shiatsu workshops throughout the region and in California. Lisa Tendler started practicing yoga at the age of 16. At 18 she began taking dance classes at CPCC in Charlotte, NC. She went on to earn her Diploma in Dance at North Carolina School of the Arts. She danced with Footpath Dance Company of Cleveland and Toronto Dance Theatre of Canada. Lisa continued her yoga studies with David Life and Sharon Gannon at Jivamukti Yoga Center in NYC and soon began teaching there.
She was introduced to Ashtanga Yoga by Eddie Stern who became her main teacher. She then went to India to study with Sri K. Pattabhi Jois. Lisa's additional yoga studies include Iyengar, Sivananda, Kundalini, Bikram and Anusara. From all her yoga experience, Lisa draws most from Ashtanga and Anusara in her teaching. Lisa is also certified in Pilates Mat and Reformer, is a NY licensed Massage Therapist. She uses her knowledge of Feldenkrais, Alexander technique and physical therapy with dance, yoga, and ball work. Combining these modalities, she has developed her own unique style of mindful exercising called "Movement Release Therapy." Lisa is a true believer of energetic balancing of the body, mind and spirit to achieve peace and alignment in the universe in which we live. She teaches yoga lifestyle and asana and introduces Ashtanga Yoga in the Bodhi Tree's En Yoga Program.

Robin Farnstrom, IKYT. Robin began her journey with Kundalini Yoga as a student in 2000. The movement, breath and stretching were immediately appealing and familiar from her years of dance training. The most profound impact from the yoga was the physical, mental and spiritual self healing.
In 2001 Robin became a certified Kundalini Yoga teacher and began teaching at The Bodhi Tree. In 2002, she expanded her teacher training to include a certification in Pregnancy Yoga. Most recently she began a second level Kundalini teacher training by completing one of a five part series.
Robin loves teaching both Kundalini Yoga and Pregnancy Yoga. She feels privileged to be a teacher and student of yoga. She loves to share the amazing journey and the experience with her students. Robin teaches Pregnancy Yoga in the Bodhi Tree's En Yoga Program

Tom Kerr, DC, is a 1984 graduate of the Palmer College of Chiropractics in Davenport, Ohio. He owns and operates a general holistic chiropractic practice in Charlotte. Tom also offers additional complementary services such as Applied Kinesiology, Nutrition and Chiropractics. Tom teaches skeletal anatomy and Kinesiology in the Bodhi Tree yoga program.

Elizabeth Regan, DPT Physical Therapy. Elizabeth teaches anatomy in regards to pain/injury and pre and post care around surgery and accident recovery. Elizabeth earned her Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from Elon University and her 220-hour yoga teacher certification at The Bodhi Tree Yoga School. She is currently a Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT) with Yoga Alliance. As a licensed physical therapist in North Carolina, Elizabeth integrates yoga and traditional physical therapy to assist clients in healing and self-awareness.
